I have 10 years of teaching experience

I offer lessons in Singing, Piano, Music Theory and Acting.

With experience in teaching individuals and groups of ages between 5 and 65, I personalise every lesson to the needs of my students by offering a diverse range of techniques which are both educational and fun. I have worked professionally across the UK and Europe and toured with award winning music artist Jane Siberry.

My students can do grades certified by ABRSM, LCM and LAMDA

I offer the opportunity for my students to take exams if they wish. These include several genres such as Pop, Musical Theatre, Rock, Jazz and Classical.

I am very pleased to say that my students have a 100% pass rate with the vast majority receiving distinctions.

My students can perform at local festivals

If my students are comfortable to do so, I encourage live performance. This is a wonderful confidence-boosting experience but can initially be quite daunting. While offering full empathic support, I endeavour to strengthen my student’s techniques in their chosen subject to empower them as much as possible.

I will always arrange an accompaniment for my singing students during performances in a key which I tailor to suit them so that they feel both comfortable and confident.

My students regularly perform at local venues, festivals and events. These have included Lady Green Garden Centre, 'Formby Live', ‘Formby Christmas lights switch on’ and ‘The Southport Music Festival’.

I can also organise for older students to perform at local open mic nights (one of which I run) in Liverpool, Southport and Crosby.
